The Sullenger Farm

Pioneer: William Dennis Sullenger.

Born: 1867, Jasper County, Missouri.

Arrived in Sutter County in 1878 by way of a wagon train. Settled in Live Oak, California. 

Occupation: Rancher/Farmer.

Lodge/fraternal organization: Woodmen of the world. 

Spouse: Mary E. Best, born 1888.

The original farm was 220 acres. 

The farm was passed from father to son over three generations. The farm is currently owned and operated by Ray Sullenger, the grandson of William Dennis.
